Rico Jedrzejczyk (pronounced “Yen-Jay-Chik”)
Rico was called to the Bar in 2012 and has a broad commercial and taxation practice, with additional expertise in defamation and professional liability. He accepts briefs in all areas of the law.
Before coming to the Bar, Rico worked as an associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP in New York City, where he acted for clients including AIG and Morgan Stanley in litigation involving credit default swaps and other types of derivatives. Rico also worked as a solicitor in the Intellectual Property and Media team at Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons). He completed a Master of Laws at Columbia University in New York in 2010.
Rico regularly appears both led and unled in trials and on appeal in the Supreme Court, Federal Court, District Court and Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
