Anya accepts briefs in all areas of law, specialising in regulatory, commercial and public law.
Anya is experienced in complex proceedings and commissions of inquiry. She has represented and advised clients in matters involving financial services laws, AML/CTF, competition, Corporations Act and judicial review.
Before being called to the Bar, Anya was a Senior Lawyer at the Australian Government Solicitor, where she assisted the Financial Services Royal Commission. Prior to that, Anya was an Associate the Justice Jagot in the Federal Court of Australia.
Anya holds a Masters of Law from Columbia University (James Kent Scholar) and a Bachelor of Laws (1st Class) and Bachelor of Economics and Social Sciences (University Medal) from the University of Sydney.
